The New Grand Baby Luke

All of my daughter Vickie's life she has wanted a Yorkie Terrier like Toto in the Wizard of Oz.Her boy friend would not allowed any animals in the house. In January Vickie and her boyfriend broke up. Vickie moved back home.2 days after she moved back home, my friend Helen called with the news, her yorkie Lexie had 2 male puppies.
Vickie and I went to see the puppies ,Helen gave Vickie first choice of the puppies. Now a name for the puppy. Back in the 80 's I was a big fan of Luke and Laura on General Hospital .I always wanted to name one of my sons Luke. So since I am baby sitting when she is at work .Vickie named the puppy Luke.

Luke weighs 1 pound 8 ozs ,he is 8 weeks old and so cute . My other dog Ben a 80 pound chicken. was a little afraid of Luke. But Luke loves Ben and wants to play.Ben is warming up a little now.

So in between my household chores ,& sewing .I am  baby sitting the newest Morris grandbaby and enjoying it a lot.

Wisconsin Quilt Blocks on Barns - Block of the Week

Jen Buettner at  Cre8tive Quilter Blog is doing  Wisconsin Quilt Blocks on Barns - Block of the Week. I love paper pieceing. The block of the week started in Jan. 2010.

I bought a digital camera yesterday so I can post pictures of the blocks.  I made Week 1 and 2 today. Week 3  I think it would be easier to use the add a eighth ruler. I have the add a quarter ruler but not the add a eighth. Not too many quilt shops in this area and they really have very little. I ordered the add a eighth ruler. So week 3 will wait til I get my ruler.

My problem is how to get the pictures off the camera and up loaded to the computer.
